The artwork created last month in support of crime victims is now on display at Sheboygan’s City Hall.
National Crime Victims’ Rights Week took place from April 6th through the 12th and culminated in Sheboygan with the Color for a Cause event.
This event was held in collaboration between Safe Harbor of Sheboygan County and the Sheboygan Police Department’s Victim Services unit.
Color for a Cause allowed those in attendance “to color a small piece of a larger puzzle, highlighting that individually, our small actions make a difference in the big picture.”
April was also Sexual Assault Awareness Month which was capped off in Sheboygan with taking this completed artwork to be on display in the lobby of City Hall.
In a statement from the Victim Services unit, they said, “The goal of this was to remind everyone that their small effort to help, educate, and support others makes a HUGE difference in the overall picture.”
Anyone interested in seeing the art piece supporting crime victims can see it at City Hall during regular business hours.
