Two Brown County construction companies were honored by the Wisconsin Safety Council for their focus on workplace safety.
The WSC held its annual conference last month, where they handed out ten Workplace Safety Awards.
In the Construction category, Hurckman Mechanical Industries Inc. out of Green Bay and De Pere’s Tweet/Garot Mechanical Inc. each were honored.
The only other company from Eastern Wisconsin to receive an award was the Neenah Foundry in the Manufacturing category.
A panel of independent safety, health, and insurance professionals selected the winners based on company safety records, training programs, safety and health leadership, and other accomplishments.
