Two area Aurora Hospitals have been given a good rating for their safety for another year.
The Leapfrog Group awarded nine Aurora Health Care hospitals with an “A” rating for excellence in patient safety on its Spring 2025 patient safety report card.
Two of the hospitals include Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County and Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County.
Leapfrog uses publicly available data to look at 22 different safety measures with infections, problems with surgery, practices to prevent errors, and staff.
Aurora Healthcare President Gabrielle Finley-Hazle says of the rankings, “Our dedicated teammates across the state work hard to provide the best care for our patients every day, and this achievement demonstrates our commitment to delivering safe, effective care and enhancing patient outcomes for everyone in the communities we have the privilege to serve.”
Other Aurora medical centers that got the award were around the Milwaukee area.
