Two of the illegal dumpers in the Town of Freedom have come forward.
After taking to social media to identify them, Freedom officials have announced that the two illegal dumpers have turned themselves in.
The town had made multiple attempts for those responsible for illegal dumping at the Town Garage Waste Site to identify themselves on their own.
However, that never happened, and videos of the incidents were posted online asking residents to identify them.
Freedom officials also noted that continued illegal dumping from these individuals or anyone else may result in suspending the services entirely which would negatively impact all residents.
In the announcement, the Town of Freedom said, “We truly appreciate your honesty and look forward to your continued proper use of the site for many years to come. Together, we can move forward in a positive direction.”
