There will be a lot of semis coming through Sheboygan and Manitowoc County this weekend.
It’s part of the 5th annual Suicide Awareness Convoy and All Wheels show, which takes place tomorrow (May 3rd).
The convoy of over 100 semis and vehicles will leave around 10:00 am from Oostburg to travel along I-43 up to the Manitowoc Expo Center.
The All-Wheels show will get underway with food, semis, tractors, and other vehicles on display.
The free event also includes music, a petting zoo, and raffles.
All proceeds from the event go toward Mental Health America Lakeshore.
The event has been organized by Deenice Warner after she lost her daughter Nicole in September 2019.
Her father would then pass away the next day in a car accident.
Anyone interested in watching the convoy come up the interstate, Mental Health Lakeshore says, people can gather at Cord Creek Road in Newton or the AMC Parking Lot in Manitowoc.
In Sheboygan County, residents can view the convoy from Racetrack Road or Sauk Trail Road East of I-43.
