A motorcyclist was seriously injured Wednesday after a crash with a garbage truck at the intersection of Capitol Drive and 128th Street in Brookfield.
Police say the motorcyclist was turning onto 128th when he struck the truck, with speed believed to be a contributing factor.
He was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
The truck driver was unharmed and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
