A beloved community event is making its return to the City of Manitowoc this weekend.
The Downtown Manitowoc Farmers Market will hold its opening day tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
As always, the weekly farmers market will be held at the Quay Street parking lot in Downtown Manitowoc, across the street from the Manitowoc Public Library.
Currently, over 60 vendors are expected to be on hand, offering attendees delicious food, artisan goods, and hand-crafted products.
The farmers market is also a great way to support local, small businesses. According to the Farmers Market Coalition, for every dollar spent at a farmer’s market, an estimated $2.60 in economic activity is generated in the surrounding community.
A complete list of vendors expected to be at the farmers market tomorrow can be found by visiting manitowoc.org.
The Downtown Manitowoc Farmers Market will be held every Saturday from May until October.
