Two municipalities in Eastern Wisconsin have their hands full with illegal dumpers.
The Town of Freedom and the City of Kaukauna have alerted residents that both locales are experiencing illegal dumping in dumpsters and at community disposal sites.
In Freedom, video surveillance footage has been released of an individual illegally depositing materials at the Town Garage Waste Site.
Freedom officials have made multiple attempts to allow the culprit to come forward, however, that has not happened.
They are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible.
In Kaukauna, the city disposal site is dealing with the hazardous overfilling of dumpsters with numerous items not authorized to be thrown out at the location, including cabinets, furniture, and electronics.
With the overfilled dumpsters, individuals have begun to leave trash and other waste on the ground, which is in violation of their city ordinances.
Those caught in the act of violating these ordinances in Kaukauna may be subject to monetary penalties.
Each municipality has posted on their respective Facebook pages outlining proper dumping methods for those uncertain about the regulations in place.
