
A teacher at Plymouth High School was recently honored by Governor Tony Evers.
Todd Williams, a business and marketing education teacher at Plymouth High, was named one of the seven recipients of the Governor’s 2024 Financial Literacy Award.
Williams has made a lasting impact on his students, colleagues, and the greater community through innovative teaching methods and visionary leadership.
This included utilizing learning tools in the classroom such as SecureFutures’ Money Path learning tool and creating a Reality Check Simulation Day at Plymouth.
As a result of this program, 85 percent of his students have made plans to develop a savings plan and budget for their future.
The Governor’s Financial Literacy Awards recognize individuals and organizations for elevating the financial literacy, capability, and financial inclusion of Wisconsin residents.
