
Authorities in Green Bay have released the identity of the female body recovered from the East River.
The Green Bay Police Department has confirmed that she was 26-year-old Arlene Cooper (Micoley), a Green Bay resident.
Police were dispatched to an area near the 500 block of Eastman Avenue by the East River on April 23rd on a report of a passerby who saw a body in the water.
30 minutes after their arrival, police and fire personnel removed Cooper’s body from the river.
The investigation into the 26-year-old’s death that followed has led police to believe that no foul play was involved.
