After a roller-coaster week, all but one county in our area is reporting gas prices below $3.00.
Shortly after collecting the data from the AAA Gas Prices website for last week’s report, gas prices around the area shot up, likely related to the NFL Draft.
Since then, they have dropped back down, but some are still higher than last week.
Manitowoc and Calumet Counties, for example, are both up five cents from this time last week as both are averaging $2.97 per gallon.
Sheboygan County’s average is unchanged at $2.96, while Outagamie County saw a three-cent dip to $2.89, the least expensive fuel in the area.
Brown County saw a drop of one penny to $2.9,7 while Kewaunee County went up a penny to $2.96. Door County also reported a slight jump, rising four cents to $3.01 per gallon.
The state average remained unchanged at $2.9,7 while the national average is up one cent to $3.18 per gallon.
