Some baby food products have been recalled nationwide.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has announced that Fruselva USA, a food producer for Target, has recalled 25,600 units of Good and Gather-branded baby food due to elevated levels of lead.
Products affected by the recall will be four-ounce tubes of baby pea, zucchini, kale, and thyme vegetable puree flavors with best-by dates reading either 12/7/25 or 12/9/25.
These products were shipped and sold to Target stores nationwide, including stores in Eastern Wisconsin.
Anyone in possession of these products is asked to not give them to their children but rather throw them out.
Alternatively, they can be returned to any Target location for a full refund.
