The City of Manitowoc is looking to fill seats on one of its committees.
The City is now accepting applications from those who wish to serve on the Manitowoc Crime Prevention Committee.
This committee assists all law enforcement agencies to help them accomplish their duties when it comes to preventing crime and cooperating with local organizations.
The committee will meet on the first Thursday of every month and will also be involved in planning community events such as the National Night Out.
Those who apply are required to be at least 18 years of age, live or be employed in the City, and have no felony convictions.
Anyone interested in submitting an application can do so by visiting manitowoc.org and a link to the application can be found on the Manitowoc Police Department Facebook page.
Those with questions regarding the application process are asked to contact Sergeant Paul Krock at 920-686-6576.
