The S.S. Badger is now on its way to Sturgeon Bay, a day later than was originally scheduled.
That’s because the car ferry had to wait a day because of the inclement weather that came through Monday (April 28th).
The Badger is going to Sturgeon Bay for repairs in preparation for the 2025 sailing season, which begins on May 16th.
The ship will sail under its own power to Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding, where it will undergo a propeller shaft bearing repair.
The ship will then return to Ludington, Michigan, on May 11th.
More information about the upcoming sailing season and where to get tickets can be found at ssbadger.com.
