The Humane Society of Sheboygan County has recognized its most prominent volunteer of the year.
As a way to cap off National Volunteer Appreciation Week, the Humane Society named Tiffany Chisholm as the 2024 Volunteer of the Year on Saturday (April 26th).
Last year, Chisholm logged over 400 hours of service, helping the most vulnerable animals in the county.
She is active in helping with transports which includes driving across state lines and welcoming dogs off planes at the airport.
Chisholm is also the driving force behind the Humane Society’s Pet Connections Facebook page.
Pet Connections shines a light on all the different animals up for adoption helping to ensure they find homes and the attention they deserve.
She also takes the time to volunteer alongside her two daughters to show them that caring for animals in Sheboygan County requires compassion, responsibility, and making a difference.
Upon their announcement, the Humane Society of Sheboygan County said of Chisholm, “Tiffany’s dedication, kindness, and tireless work have changed lives, one paw at a time. She is the definition of selflessness and service, and we’re so grateful for everything she does.”
