A reserve judge will now handle the caseload of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan, who was arrested by the FBI on Friday.
Dugan is accused of helping an undocumented immigrant avoid ICE agents by redirecting them and secretly escorting the man and his attorney through a restricted area.
On the bench since 2016 and re-elected in 2021, Dugan is scheduled to appear in court on May 15.
