A portion of Manitowoc was dealing with some power issues overnight.
Manitowoc Public Utilities reported a large outage around 7:45 last night (April 28th) in the south/southwest area.
Crews were immediately sent out, and it took about three hours before the power was restored around 10:25 last night.
MPU Communications Manager Jenny Nelson tells Seehafernews.com that the outage was caused due to equipment failure and wasn’t related to the weather.
According to weather observations at weather.gov, the Manitowoc County Airport received about half an inch of rain as storms made their way through last night.
