Rolling Meadows Golf Course closed early after a black bear was seen perched in a tree on the property.
The course shared on Facebook that they consulted with wildlife experts, who advised the temporary closure.
Later, the bear was seen napping in nearby woods.
Officials say the bear is expected to leave the area soon, poses no danger, and should be left undisturbed if encountered.
