Two Manitowoc residents were arrested in a drug bust over the weekend.
The Manitowoc Police Department executed a search warrant at a home in the 600 block of South 19th Street on Friday (April 25th), where they found a 69-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman.
The man told police that he was not aware of any illegal substances in the residence, but admitted to occasionally smoking methamphetamine with others in the residence.
The woman also noted that the man would take drugs with people in the residence, but claimed she only smoked marijuana.
A search of the home uncovered roughly one gram of methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
The man was charged with Possession of THC and Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine as Party to the Crime, and being the Keeper of a Drug House, while the woman was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine as Party to the Crime and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
