The jury trial of a Random Lake teen charged with child sexual assault has ended.
17-year-old Spencer Dietrich was in court in Sheboygan County on Thursday (April 24th) for the final day of his jury trial, where he was found guilty of three of the nine felony charges he faced.
On Thursday, the jury determined that the 17-year-old was guilty of Child Abuse-Intentionally Causing Harm and two counts of Intimidating a Victim by the Use of Force.
However, the jury found Dietrich not guilty of First-Degree Child Sexual Assault – Sexual Contact or Intercourse with a Person Under the Age of 13, Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, two counts of Incest with a Child, and two counts of False Imprisonment.
Another teenager, 17-year-old Cole Guttmann, was also implicated in the case and was found guilty in Sheboygan County of a lone Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child charge due to a no-contest plea last month.
Guttman returns to court next week for charges related to the case in Ozaukee County, while Dietrich will be back in court in Sheboygan County for a sentencing hearing on June 30th.
