A person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after walking into traffic and being struck by a car late last night on 300 Cottage Grove Road.
According to police, the individual was intoxicated at the time and had been removed from two bars earlier in the evening.
The pedestrian was cited for suddenly entering traffic.
