
One person has died after a motorcycle crash over the weekend in Ashwaubenon.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety has said the crash occurred on Mike McCarthy Way on Saturday (April 26th) just before 11:30 p.m.
A motorcycle driven by an 18-year-old De Pere man was traveling south on Ashland Avenue when it collided with a sedan that was turning west onto Mike McCarthy Way from northbound Ashland.
As a result of the collision, the 18-year-old was ejected from his motorcycle.
Upon the arrival of EMS crews, he was transported to a local hospital, where he would later be pronounced dead.
The driver of the sedan, an 84-year-old Ashwaubenon woman, was seriously injured but with non-life-threatening injuries.
She was transported to a medical facility to receive treatment; however, she is fully cooperating with the crash investigation.
The teenager’s identity is being withheld at this time, pending the notification of his family.
At this time, it is unknown if alcohol or speed played a factor in the fatal accident.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety was assisted by the Brown County Sheriff’s and Highway Departments, the Green Bay Police Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
