The Two Rivers Police Department has honored officers and citizens for their accomplishments last year.
The department has given Officers Brad Dimmick, Seth Tobison, Justin Krueger, and Justin Jackson Life Saving Awards for their actions in life-or-death situations.
Each of these officers was directly responsible for saving the lives of one or more individuals over the past year.
Citizen Awards were also given to Oscar Garcia for aiding in the arrest of a suspect in crimes across Wisconsin as well as Steve Leigl Jr. and Derek Kielkopf for assisting TRPD officers in rescuing two people from the waters of Lake Michigan.
Additionally, Lieutenant Karen Elsenpeter was honored for 30 years of service with the department, and Lieutenant Logan Tlachac who hit five years on the force in 2024.
