Plymouth Utilities has set the date for its annual recycling event.
In partnership with WPPI Energy, the event will take place on Thursday, May 8th, at the Plymouth Utilities facility located at 900 County Highway PP from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This event is open to the public and a great opportunity for Plymouth residents who are doing spring cleaning.
There will be fees for certain items brought to be recycled, such as light bulbs, batteries, microwaves, and others.
However, common household items such as laptops, cell phones, string lights, and various other household electronics can be disposed of free of charge.
For items that do require a recycling fee, all payments are due at the time of drop-off.
A complete list of items that will and will not be accepted, as well as prices, can be found online by visiting the Plymouth Utilities Facebook page.
Anyone with questions regarding Plymouth’s recycling event can call Plymouth Utilities Energy Services Manager Tim Boldt at 608-825-1754.
