Calumet County is reminding residents to get their water wells tested.
Next week, Monday (May 5th) is Private Well Testing Day, and the county says there are a limited number of testing kits still available. Private well owners are recommended to sample annually for coliform bacteria and nitrate.
All well tests available cost between $3 and $161.
Residents can also pick up bottles of water at Chilton Town Hall tomorrow (April 29th) from 5:00 to 6:30 pm or at the Harrison Municipal Building on Wednesday (April 30th) at the same time.
The last bottled water pickup will be on Thursday at the Brillion Municipal Building.
