Eight men are in custody in Oshkosh following a human trafficking investigation.
Oshkosh Police Department officers and detectives, along with the Vice and Narcotics Unit, made the arrests last week as part of an undercover investigation in the city.
This undercover investigation led to the arrest of the eight men, who range from 20 to 48 years old.
Those in custody are from Oshkosh, Appleton, Clintonville, Wautoma, Oakfield, and Florida.
Each man has been charged with Pandering, while one 41-year-old man also received a felony bail jumping charge.
During the arrest of one of the individuals, a loaded handgun was located concealed in his waistband.
At this time, no further information regarding the investigation or the number of victims affected is available.
However, the Oshkosh Police Department said in its statement, “Our door is always open to those seeking help, and we encourage anyone with information or concerns about human trafficking to come forward. Together, we can create a safer community and enhance the quality of life for everyone.”
