The City of Kewaunee is examining the need for an all-inclusive indoor community space to serve multiple functions.
The city is asking the public to take a survey to provide their views on a possible new site for a senior center and meal site, or expansion on a building that already exists.
Kewaunee officials say demographic changes, funding opportunities, and challenges with reduced or competing resources have made them “initiate a more future-oriented conversation about area residents’ vision for accommodating the diverse needs of the community.”
The first survey is to gauge the general and specific needs of the community so that more focused evaluations can be made in the future.
The survey, which can be found at surveymonkey.com/r/kewauneevision, closes next Friday (May 2nd) at 5:00 pm.
Physical copies can be picked up at city hall as well.
