With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, Mental Health America Lakeshore says it’s time to make a change.
The community is urged to join the call to action as MHA Lakeshore challenges everyone to move beyond conversation and create real, meaningful change.
Sandy Leske, director of advancement of MHA Lakeshore, says, “Let’s rally together this May because awareness is only the beginning. Action is what drives change.”
MHA Lakeshore has set a donation goal of $25,000 to help fund community outreach for offerings in the month of May and beyond.
The campaign will not only raise awareness but also generate the funding needed for MHA Lakeshore to continue suicide awareness, workplace wellness, and youth programming.
