A Two Rivers man has had charges against him in a stabbing incident dismissed.
According to court records, Judge Robert Dewane dismissed charges without prejudice against 22-year-old Dominic Liggins Jr. a couple of weeks ago upon a motion from prosecutors.
That means the district attorney’s office could file charges again. Liggins was accused of child abuse with a high probability of great harm, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, false imprisonment, and bail jumping.
According to Two Rivers Police, Liggins was arrested in March after a female juvenile was stabbed in the chest.
A standoff has also ensued, and the SWAT team was called.
