A Green Bay woman has been charged in relation to the overdose death of her partner.
Court records show that 55-year-old Joelle R. Blaser made her initial appearance in Brown County yesterday (April 24th) as she has been charged with First-Degree Reckless Homicide/Delivering Drugs.
At her initial appearance, Blaser had her bond set at $25,000 cash, which is yet to be posted.
FOX11 reports that the 55-year-old has been accused of using a Tylenol bottle to sneak Xanax and fentanyl into a rehab facility for her long-time romantic partner.
Her partner, named in a criminal complaint as R.G., was in the facility and had communicated to Blaser that they were going through withdrawals.
After taking the illegal drugs Blaser smuggled in, R.G. was found unresponsive at the Green Bay Rehabilitation Center on September 2nd and would later be pronounced dead.
A search of Blaser’s phone would uncover messages to R.G. and a supplier about getting her partner drugs inside the rehab facility.
She returns to court on May 21st.
