Manitowoc and Sheboygan County are again working with local law enforcement for National Drug Take Back Day.
It takes place tomorrow (April 26th), with multiple locations to drop off unwanted or unneeded prescription drugs.
In Manitowoc County, residents can drop off items at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial from 9:00 am to noon.
In Kiel, residents can go from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Community Center on 3rd Street.
There are four drop-offs in Sheboygan County: Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, and Random Lake.
There is also a drop-off site in Calumet County at the New Holstein Police Department.
While prescription and over-the-counter medications are the focus of the take-back day, residents can also bring ointments, inhalers, and non-aerosol sprays.
However, several items are not accepted.
You can find the full list on the Drug Take Back Day page of dhs.wisconsin.gov.
