Three streets on Two Rivers’ east side will officially get work done on them.
The City Council approved final assessments and awarded a bid for reconstructing a block of Harbor, 16th, and Emmet Streets.
Vinton Construction has been tasked to do the work for about $1.5 million.
City Manager Greg Buckley explained that some of the infrastructure is very old, with some water mains installed under the streets in 1904 and 1916.
The project will also include the installation of storm service laterals, grading, and graveling.
The project will cost more than the Roosevelt Street project done last year.
