A road in the City of Sheboygan is scheduled to close for an extended period of time.
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works has shared that South 20th Street will be closed from Georgia Avenue to Indiana Avenue for construction, beginning today (April 24th).
During the closure, DPW crews will perform pavement resurfacing along with storm sewer and walk ramp reconstruction.
This portion of South 20th Street will be closed to through traffic for the entire duration of the project, with work scheduled to be completed sometime in June.
The closure, work, and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.
Drivers are asked to exhibit caution near work zones as road construction ramps up in Sheboygan during the spring.
