The date has been set for the auction of hundreds of handcrafted pieces of artwork.
87-year-old Air Force veteran Richard Young recently moved from Manitowoc to Missouri, and instead of taking his art with him, he decided to auction it off.
The auction is scheduled for Saturday, May 31st, at The Inn on Maritime Bay.
Among the vast array of pieces are numerous busts of the likes of Abraham Lincoln and Albert Einstein, vases of different styles, dragons, baskets, and hats of various styles, just to name a few.
Richard previously told SeehaferNews.com that his art is a very important part of who he is.
“It’s made my life special just to see what I’ve done,” he said. “I mean, it. I’m probably my best, my favorite fan.”
Doors for previews at 8:30 a.m., with the auction beginning at 10:00 a.m., managed by Ted Radtke of Gallery 10 LLC.
Cash, check, and credit or debit cards will all be accepted, however there will be a 3.5% convenience fee for card payments.
Food and drinks will also be available.
