Wisconsin planted over 10 million trees in 2024, moving closer to goals set in a 2021 executive order by Governor Tony Evers.
The initiative aims to plant 75 million trees and protect more than 125,000 acres of forest by 2030.
So far, the state has also conserved 57,000 acres of forestland this year alone.
