A teacher at Rufus High School has been charged with four felony counts involving inappropriate behavior toward student athletes.
The alleged misconduct took place between September 2024 and April 2025.
Authorities say the teacher sent late-night messages, engaged in unwanted physical contact, and transferred hundreds of dollars to students using Cash App.
Each felony charge carries a potential sentence of three and a half years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
