A Manitowoc Lutheran track and field all-star has once again broken his own school record.
While competing at the Oostburg Co-op Invite Tuesday, Gabriel Stuebs broke his record for the 400-meter run with a time of 50.2 seconds, which is .34 seconds faster than his time in the Big East Conference Championship meet last year.
Stuebs is also the record holder in the 200-meter dash, securing a 22.82-second finish earlier this year.
As a team, the Lancers’ girls team earned a first place finish in Oostburg, thanks to first place finishes by Makiah Krause in the 100 hurdles, Addison Korte in the 400 Dash, the 4×100 meter relay team of Ava Schultz, Maren Dewane, Abigail Huehn, and Maddie Keil, the 4×400 relay team of Lilly Mehlhorn, Korte, Schultz and Stevie Brunner, and Elizabeth Blauert in the Long Jump.
The boys finished second thanks in part to 1st place finishes by the 4×800 meter relay team of Joseph Ungemach, Ryder Vogt, Braden Revak, and Jacob Kanzenbach, and Trenton Schuettpelz in the 110 meter hurdles and Triple Jump.
