A decision is expected sometime on Wednesday by The WIAA Board of Control on whether Two Rivers will be moved back to The Eastern Wisconsin Conference for football, effective in 2026.
The WIAA Realignment Task Force met recently to finalize plans that were remanded by The Board of Control at their March meeting for further consideration.
The remanded plan would put Two Rivers back in the EWC with Roncalli, Valders, Kiel, Brillion, Chilton and New Holstein.
Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian would move from the EWC to the Northeast Conference for football only, along with Denmark, Sheboygan Falls, Luxemburg-Casco, Wrightstown, Little Chute, and Freedom.
There would be a mandatory crossover game with the Bay Conference.
If approved, Two Rivers would return to The EWC for all sports in the 2026-2027 school year.
