A little more than a month after being diagnosed with a blood clot in his right calf, Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard will return to play game two of their best of seven Eastern Conference first round playoff series against The Indiana Pacers tonight in Indianapolis.
Lillard has not played since being diagnosed March 18th, with doctors calling his quick recovery nothing short of miraculous as they were able to detect and treat Lillard early before an official diagnosis, which included blood thinning medication.
Lillard averaged nearly 25 points and seven assists in 58 games for Milwaukee during the regular season.
The Bucks need a victory to even the series at one game apiece. Coverage on 980 WCUB begins at 5:30 p.m.
