AAA is looking to help attendees of the NFL Draft in Green Bay get home safely.
AAA’s ‘Tow to Go’ program will be active from 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday (April 23rd) until 6:00 a.m. on Monday (April 28th).
The aim behind the program is to be a last resort to avoid the risk of driving while intoxicated. ‘Tow to Go’ will offer a free ride to impaired drivers and their vehicles who do not have a safe alternative, within a 10-mile radius.
This program will be free of charge and available to both AAA members and non-members alike, however, appointments cannot be scheduled in advance.
Nick Jarmusz, director of public affairs for AAA said, “We’re proud to be that last line of defense, keeping people from driving impaired. We also remain committed to educating the public that it’s important to find a safe ride before drinking alcohol or taking drugs.”
In the 25 years since its inception, ‘Tow to Go’ has successfully removed nearly 30,000 impaired drivers from the roadway.
