One of the two Random Lake teens charged with child sexual assault is set for trial.
Spencer Dietrich, who turned 17 last week, will be in a Sheboygan County courtroom today (April 21st) for day one of his four-day jury trial.
Dietrich is standing trial as he faces nine felony charges, including First-Degree Child Sexual Assault – Sexual Contact or Sexual Intercourse with Person under the Age of 13, Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, and two counts of Incest with a Child.
Dietrich and 17-year-old Cole Guttman were charged after an incident that occurred last year.
It has been reported that the two teens forced two young brothers to perform sexual acts on one another, recorded it, and shared the video with others.
Guttman originally faced a long list of charges similar to Dietrich, however, he had all but a charge of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child thrown out.
He was found guilty due to a no-contest plea to that lone charge last month and will be sentenced on June 16th.
Guttmann is also due in Ozaukee County court on Thursday (April 24th) for charges related to the same incident.
