
Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels will be officially sworn in next week.
The Fifth Inauguration Ceremony for Justin Nickels takes place Tuesday (April 22nd) outside of Manitowoc City Hall, along with the swearing-in of aldermen who won their respective districts.
The Master of Ceremonies will be 6th District Alderman Eric Sitkiewitz, while the Clipper City Chordsmen will perform the national anthem.
Pastor Matt Zimpelmann will give the invocation, while the program’s speaker will be 4th Alderman Jim Brey.
There will also be music from the brass quintet of the Manitowoc Marine Band.
Nickels won a fifth term in office after getting the most votes in April’s Spring General Election.
Incumbents Todd Reckelburg, Michael Cummings, and Chad Beeman will also be sworn in.
Andrew Dunbar and Brian Anderson will be sworn in as new council members.
