The Milwaukee Brewers’ high-A affiliate in the Minor Leagues has been sold.
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have announced that the previous owners, Third Base Ventures, have agreed to sell the team to Diamond Baseball Ventures.
Diamond Baseball Ventures is an organization that owns and operates multiple other Minor League Baseball (MiLB) teams with Major League affiliations.
While the sale is official, the team has shared that they will remain at their home stadium in Fox Cities and continue to be a minor league affiliate for the Brewers.
The current Timber Rattlers front office will be retained through the sale and will continue operating the club under team President and CEO, Rob Zerjav, who is a part of Third Base Ventures.
In addition to acquiring the team, Diamond Baseball Holdings is also purchasing Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium, the home of the Timber Rattlers for three decades.
