In their first real pitching duel of the year, the Manitowoc Lincoln Shipbuilders baseball team were able to take down the Pulaski Red Raiders 2-0 on the road yesterday (April 18th) in six innings.
The game was scoreless through four innings before a Gabe Eichmann single drew in the two runs.
Nick Braun also had a good day as the cleanup hitter, going 1 for 3 and leaving the team with two hits in three at-bats.
Seth Giebault picked up the win for Lincoln only giving up four hits but zero runs over 5 1/3 innings.
He also struck out seven Red Raiders and walked three.
Logan Brabant took the loss for Pulaski as he gave up the two hits to Lincoln.
The game was called in the sixth inning due to darkness.
The next game for the Ships is a contest against a very good Notre Dame team on Monday back at Municipal Field.
The Ships are now 6-0 on the year, 5-0 in conference.
