A Milwaukee jury has convicted 31-year-old Antonio Currin of first-degree reckless homicide in the shooting death of transgender woman Chyna Long.
The incident occurred in October 2023.
According to prosecutors, Currin shot Long and then fled the scene in his vehicle.
Police later recovered the car and found evidence, including a bullet hole in the passenger door, blood spatter, and a spent shell casing.
Currin is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
