New evidence has been discovered in the case of a former Green Bay area tennis coach convicted of taking inappropriate videos of young girls.
40-year-old Joshua Denault was inside a Brown County courtroom yesterday (April 17th) after being found guilty due to no contest pleas to four counts of Child Sexual Exploitation charges and two Child Enticement charges.
At his hearing yesterday, the State and Denault’s attorney discussed a new referral for charges against the 40-year-old that will be read in during his sentencing.
FOX11 reports that this referral of an increased prison sentence comes after new evidence was discovered that revealed that an additional crime was committed by Denault.
This discovery came after his no-contest pleas were entered on March 11th.
As an increased prison term is to be recommended by prosecutors, the terms of his plea deal have now changed.
As we previously reported, Denault took inappropriate videos of five separate young girls while coaching tennis at Four Seasons Tennis Club and Western Racquet and Fitness Club in the Green Bay area.
Initially, one lone 10-year-old girl came forward, but a search of his cell phone led to more victims and charges, and now another victim has been discovered.
Denault returns to court on May 20th for his sentencing hearing, where this increased prison term recommendation will be revealed.
