Numerous people have been arrested in connection to a large shooting incident at a park in Sheboygan last month.
The Sheboygan Police Department has shared that ten individuals are now in custody after several shots were fired at End Park on March 30th.
The suspects arrested range from 19 to 24 years old and consist of both male and female Sheboygan, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Fond du Lac residents.
However, four suspects remain at large, and authorities believe 14 individuals will be in custody at the conclusion of their investigation.
While the investigation remains ongoing, Sheboygan PD believes charges of First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Disorderly Conduct While Armed will be amongst those referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office.
On March 30th, police responded to End Park at approximately 2:00 a.m. on multiple reports of shots fired.
When they arrived, all parties involved were gone, but evidence gathered at the scene and video evidence led them to believe that a large disturbance broke out between two groups of people.
The situation escalated, prompting people on both sides to arm themselves with handguns before shots were fired.
Despite the large number of people involved and rounds fired, no one was struck or seriously injured during the incident.
