
The perfect start to the Manitowoc Lincoln baseball season continued yesterday (April 15th) as the Ships rolled over Ashwaubenon 13-0 at Municipal Field.
Lincoln brought home 4 runs in the opening frame, added a pair in the 3rd, and exploded for 7 in the 4th inning of the 5-inning matchup.
Vance Schroeder had a game to remember, driving home 4 runs by blasting a pair of home runs, while Zach Bradl and Brayden Stienbecker each tallied a pair of RBI, and Cade Grapentine, Seth Gibeault, Kam Braun, and Brett Danielson accounted for the final three runs.
Stenbecker also had a great day on the mound, going all 5 innings, allowing just 3 hits while striking out 6 batters.
The win improves the Ships to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the FRCC.
Lincoln will be back in action with another conference matchup Friday, as they travel to Pulaski.
