
Grant money from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will support economic development in eastern Wisconsin.
It’s part of the WEDC’s Small Business Development Grants that will be given out to municipalities so they can invest in small businesses and small business creation.
The City of Kiel will receive $60,000 out of $3.2 million total to supplement its façade revolving loans for building improvements and financial support.
The City of Fond du Lac is also getting $215,000 from the WEDC to supplement and expand their programs, which include a lot of grant funding.
The Door County Economic Development Corporation will receive $225,000 for its Façade and Property Improvement Program, which offers grants to help rehabilitate and upgrade commercial buildings.
The grant funding continues as part of the Main Street Bounceback Grant Program, which has provided nearly $95 million to over 9,500 businesses statewide.
