A heavily trafficked road in Sheboygan will be closed for cleanup.
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works has announced that Broughton Drive will be closed today (April 16th) from 7:00 a.m. to noon between Michigan Avenue and Barret Street.
This closure will also include the walking trail along Broughton Drive from Michigan Avenue to the Northpoint Overlook parking lot.
During the closure, DPW crews will be removing sand from the Broughton Drive right-of-way, the walking trail, and the hillside.
Motorists are asked to use caution, follow posted signs, and slow down in the area as crews work on the sand cleanup.
